Day 1   
Arrive Bucharest

Transfer from Bucharest airport/ train station to your well-located hotel.
Time permitting: walking tour of Bucharest Old Town 
Optional: Dinner at one of the traditional Romanian restaurants.
Overnight in Bucharest in 3* hotel.
Day 1 in brief
Distance traveled: 18 km - Airport to centrally located hotel

Day 2   
Bucharest 
--  Curtea de Arges  --  Sibiu
After breakfast, departure to Sibiu, via Curtea de Arges.
Stops/ visits:
Curtea de Arges/ Monastery Curtea de Arges,
a stunning place of worship and resting place of Romania's royal family.
In the Middle-Ages, Curtea de Arges was the capital
of Romania's southern historical province: Walachia.
Optional:
Visit to the ruins of Poenari Fortress
(this is a 'must-do' - 60 km/ 38 miles - detour for Dracula Fans).
Continue to Sibiu, via Olt river valley 
or via the TransFagarasan scenic road (open: July through October).

one of the oldest towns in Transylvania, founded by Saxon colonists.

Day 2 in brief

Day 3
Sibiu 
--  Medias  --  Biertan  --  Sighisoara
After the breakfast, departure to Sighisoara, one of the best preserved medieval towns in Europe. 
Sighisoara is, also, the birthplace of prince Vlad Tepes ("the Impaler"),
the Romanian prince who has inspired the fictional character Count Dracula
in the novel "Dracula". 
In mid-1400s Vlad ruled the historic province of Walachia (Southern Romania).
Stops/ visits:
~ Medias / town which offers fine examples of medieval town planning / architecture
~ Biertan / Biertan fortified Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
~ Sighisoara - medieval citadel,  a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 in brief
Distance traveled:  120 km (75 miles)

Day 4   
Sighisoara 
--  Viscri --  Rupea  --  Brasov
After breakfast, travel from Sighisoara to Brasov.
Stops/ visits:
~ Viscri - beautiful Saxon village, 40 minutes south of Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
~ Rupea fortress - a medieval fortress built in the form of a spiral
~ Sightseeing in Brasov - a city that will not leave you indifferent
Overnight in Brasov in 3* hotel.
Day 4 in brief
Distance traveled: 150 km
Approx. travel time: 2 hours and 30 minutes  (normal traffic, without stops)
Sights/ Activities: historical buildings, medieval architecture, rural Transylvania,
UNESCO World Heritage Sites. 

Day 5   
Brasov  --  Bran  --  Sinaia  --  Bucharest
Travel from Brasov to Bucharest, crossing the southern Carpathian Mountains.
Stops / visits:
~ Bran / Bran (Dracula's) Castle,
~ Sinaia / Peles Castle, one of the most spectacular in Europe; from 1880s to 1947, Peles castle was the summer residence of Romania's Royal family.
Arrival in Bucharest, sightseeing tour.
Overnight in Bucharest in 3* hotel.
Day 5 in brief

Approx. travel time: 3 hours and 35 minutes  (normal traffic, without stops)

Bucharest -- Airport OTP
Depending of the time of your flight, transfer from your hotel in Bucharest to the airport Otopeni
